Tasting

Tasting

Intense straw yellow predominates with small greenish hues. The nose is fresh, floral, fruity and tells a tale of spring. On the palate it is mineral, sharp, very fresh and savoury, with notes of fragrant, juicy fruit.

Vinification
notes

Vinification without skins, traditional slow pressing in a vertical press. Fermentation in steel vats at a gently controlled temperature.
Ageing: 8 months, 50% of the mass matures in non-vitrified concrete and the remaining 50% in third passage barriques.

Label

The label is taken from one of the sketches by Silvio Gordini, great-great-grandfather of Aldo and Paolo Rametta, a famous Romagna painter of the early 1900s. It represents an allegory of still life composed of flowers and fruit. The artificial winged face that carries the precious vase on its head is interesting. The luxuriant image, as well as the lively tones, bring to mind the fresh, floral and fruity scents of a wine that evokes spring.

Interesting fact – The name Nubivago is linked to a racing horse from the Rametta brothers’ maternal grandfather’s stable. He was the youngest of the team’s champions, and was dynamic and courageous but also stubborn.
