Tasting

Tasting

The nose has hints of citrus fruits, white flowers and aromatic herbs: in the mouth the aromatic picture ranges between lemon, grapefruit, a touch of blonde orange, sage and rosemary.

Vinification
notes

The vinification is done without the skins, through slow traditional pressing in a vertical press.
Fermentation in steel vats at a gently controlled temperature. The refinement is 5 months in steel on the fine lees and at least 2 months in the bottle.
Production amounts to 3,500 bottles.

Label

It is a sketch by the artist Silvio Gordini, which depicts a flower, perhaps a snapdragon.

Interesting fact – the name, Belladama, is a tribute to the mother of Aldo and Paolo Rametta, who say: “Belladama was the name of a horse from the trotting stable that our maternal grandfather owned before the Second World War. Then, he lost everything. Horses represent wonderful memories for our mother Rosanna, even though she was still a child, which is why we wanted to dedicate this first white wine, of which we are very proud, to that horse, and therefore also to her.”
