Tasting

Tasting

On the nose, intense notes of blood orange, cherry and black cherry in alcohol, pomegranate. Spices with black pepper and cinnamon.
The aroma evokes sage, thyme and rosemary, and cocoa is evident. On the palate it is decisive with an evident tannic texture, perfectly balanced between red fruit and spices.
The notes of anise, nutmeg, and cinchona close.

Vinification
notes

Based on a selection of Sangiovese-based red wines, choosing only the hottest years to guarantee aromas and enveloping. The flavouring takes place through infusion in alcohol with citrus peel,
red and bitter orange, to obtain the fortification of the alcohol until it reaches 19%.

Label

The label is taken from one of the sketches by Silvio Gordini, great-great-grandfather of Aldo and Paolo, a famous Romagna painter of the early 1900s.

Beldemonio takes its name from one of the Rametta’s maternal grandfather’s racehorses. A great champion, lively, astute and elegant, remembered with great affection
by the family.
